Privacy policy

Easylark ("we", "us") is a small online service, run by a sole proprietor in California, that writes AI Automation Plans for small businesses. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have. We wrote it in plain English on purpose.
What we collect
- What you tell us. Your name or firm name, email address, and your answers to our questionnaire, Quick Scan, waitlist or contact form (for example, your team size, the software you use and the tasks that take up your time).
- Newsletter sign-ups. If you sign up for our newsletter, we store your email address to send it to you. You can unsubscribe at any time, and we never sell your email address.
- Payment details. Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects your card details and billing address; we never see or store your full card number. Stripe shares with us your name, email, billing address, what you bought and the last four digits of your card.
- Basic technical data. Our hosting provider, Vercel, records standard information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and approximate country. We use it to keep the site running and secure.
Please don't put client names or confidential client information in the questionnaire. We only need to know how your business works.
How we use it
- To prepare and deliver your plan and any other product you buy.
- To email you about your order, your plan, refunds and support questions.
- To process payments, prevent fraud and keep records we're required to keep.
- To improve our plans and website, using your information in a way that doesn't identify you.
- If you join our newsletter or a waitlist, to send you those updates. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
We may use third-party AI services to help draft your plan. Your answers are sent to them only to produce your plan, under their business terms.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with the service providers that help us run Easylark:
- Stripe, for payments (Stripe's privacy policy).
- Vercel, which hosts this website and stores form submissions (Vercel's privacy policy).
- AI and email providers we use to write and deliver your plan.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
How long we keep it
We keep your questionnaire answers and plan for up to 2 years after your last purchase, so we can support you and refresh your plan. After that, we delete them. Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, and we will not treat you differently for using them. To make a request, contact us through the contact form on this site. We may need to confirm your email address first.
Security
Form submissions are stored privately with our hosting provider and are only accessible to us. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Children
Easylark is a business service for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we'll tell customers by email.
